The '''Medical Innovation Award''' is a prestigious University of Arizona Award given to professors for their innovative initiatives in teaching activities.
[[Yiannis Laouris]] has received this Award from the University of Arizona in 1991 for designing a pseudo expert system in [[HyperCard]] based on multimedia principles in teaching neurophysiology to medical and nursing school curricula. The experience gained has been introduced in [[CYBER KIDS Curriculum]], and [[HyperCard]] became the key computer language in which all CYBER KIDS were introduced even from the age of 7-8 years.
